The Great Harbour Way needs YOU to fix the gap!

“The Gap” is the section of the Great Harbour Way/ Te Aranui o Pōneke between Ngauranga and Petone where cyclists and walkers are forced to use the expressway shoulder. An opportunity to fix the gap is coming up in the Greater Wellington Regional Council’s review of the Draft Hutt Corridor Plan, which includes provision for a cycle and walking path from the Petone foreshore to Ngauranga.

GWRC are calling for submissions, due 15 June. You can play your part in fixing the gap by making a brief submission, supporting the cycle and walking path, and urging that its implementation be brought forward.
