The "Four Bridges Project"

One of the issues with the Great Harbour Way/ Te Aranui o Pōneke is crossing the Jervois Quay "racetrack" between the CBD and the waterfront. Tony Anderson has some neat ideas here, proposing three new bridges in addition to the current city-to-sea bridge from Civic Square to the Waterfront - currently the focus of the hugely popular RWC Fanzone. Check out the proposal at his Wellington 2010-2020 website.
